Job Responsibilities
Job Profile:
We
are in search of a personnel highly versatile in credit administration
functions as the support arm of the frontline lending activities. The role
requires someone with strong credit background to
institute a standard credit administration processes and procedures, a high level
of documentation of credit terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the
development of the company’s credit strategy.
- Participate in identifying
possible changes to credit policies and credit operational procedures as
necessitate by the business.
- Organise credit committee sittings
and ensure timely and well-organized proceedings.
- Serve as Secretary to the
Management Credit Committee, document and circulate credit minutes.
- Responsible for
custody of collateral items, collateral valuation, collateral monitoring
and collateral reconciliation with original documents, regular monitoring
of any pledged items to ensure compliance of coverage ratio, and advise for a top-up in case of depreciation of pledge share price.
- Be the principal custodian
of credit files by implementing either a centralized of decentralized file
management system for ease of safekeeping, retrieval, and archiving of
files.
- Be responsible of managing
credit terms in the MIS such as the implementation facility bookings,
structuring and closure
- Provide timely and
accurate reports required for Management and analysis and decision making
- Ensure compliance of the
Credit Policy and all credit products in the credit process.
- Work closely with the
Credit Risk team to ensure all credit files before drawn own are in compliance
with sound business practices, legislation, regulations, by-laws, policies and
procedures.
- Provide support and
direction to loan officers in resolving complex credit and other related
problems.
- Perform other tasks
assigned by Management within the remit of the corporate functions.
