Mr. Abdourahman Touray graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah with a BA in Shariah and Law in 2012. He then proceeded to Malaysia where he did his Masters’s degree in Islamic Finance in 2016 from the University Sains Islam Malaysia. He also obtains Educational Preparation Certificate in 2012 and Diploma in Linguistic Preparation 2008 both at the Islamic University of Madinah.
He worked as a Relationship Manager and part of the Trade Finance Team at Agib Bank Ltd from 2016 to 2020 from where he joined Supersonicz Microfinance as Manager, Business Development from February 2020 to April 2021. He got appointed as Manager, of Business Development with APS Islamic Microfinance Co. Ltd in March 2021. Abdourahman joined APS Islamic Microfinance Co. Ltd as Manager, Business Develop and a member of the pioneering staff. He played an instrumental role in setting up the company and was the lead resource person in developing the first Shariah compliant products of the company.
