Muhammed was appointed as Head of Treasury and Remittance Department of APS Islamic Microfinance Co. Ltd in September 2021. He is responsible for liquidity management of the company, supervision of foreign currency activities, management of Sukuk investment portfolio as well as management of remittance services amongst a host of other functions. Before joining APS Islamic Microfinance Co Ltd., Muhammed was an Assistant Manager, Treasury and Financial Institution Department at Agib Bank Limited. He also worked at Guaranty Trust Bank (Gambia) Ltd as a transaction officer.
Muhammed is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB) and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Finance from Near East University (TRNC).
